From Floriant-
Hello, this time I made race car parts with the Shapeoko3.
The parts are called camber shims and are used to adjust the camber on the front and rear of a P1 prototype running in SCCA. The car is a French made Norma featuring a carbon fiber chassis and a Honda engine. The car is pictured without the bodywork.
Second picture shows the location of camber shims and the last one is the shims themselves.
Material is 0.0625” 6061 T6 aluminum, feed rate was at 20” per minute, plunge of 15” per minute and passes of 0.015” with an 1/8” 2 flutes carbide bit. Speed on the Makita dial was at around 3.5.
Keep up the good work.
